Description

About the book :

In this quest to get to the root of this festering issue of distrust among castes , Hindus must decode not
just the elusive concept of ‘caste’ but also those of untouchability and Dravidianism  as per the Sastras. All these are major issues that have been used to demonize Hinduism. These issues are all interlinked and ‘also have one thing in common,’ by the end of this write-up the reader will have a thorough understanding of the common element. This collection of articles is an attempt towards decoding these topics with a view to put us on the path toward solving the above-mentioned problems.

Varna and Kula have many dimensions, such as spiritual, economic, political, etc.

This write-up is mainly aimed at the spiritual aspects of these two systems. To get out of the confusion created by the Europeans, we first need to understand the functioning of this system, thereby its framework. Once we understand the actual framework and its related mechanism, it becomes easy to fit the rest of the pieces together.

This book is divided into two parts. The first part mainly deals with Varna/ Kula and untouchability. The second part deals with Dravidian identity, Āyurveda and the occupational aspect of the Varna/Kula. Towards the end, the reader will get  a decent understanding of the native concepts behind these topics. This book essentially focused on the south Indian Society, however, evidence pertaining to north India
was quoted as available.

The present book Śivasya Kulam talks about the colonial narratives and distortions along with the actual dimensions of caste, untouchability and Dravidianism exposing the Christian onslaught on Hindu society.

It is by pure accident that I came across this book. This is must read book for all those Hindus who get disturbed about ‘caste’. This book will break the chains of coloniality and liberate their mind to give peace. And, hopefully respect for bharatiya civilization if they understand the actual and factual organization of Indian society. Especailly, about vaidika and tantrika traditions, kula and kula acharams. The imposition of western caste concepts on unsuspecting Hindus who were mercilessly ‘brainwashed’ into inferiority complex – those are nice exposed in this book. Its very research driven with lot of references. Somewhat tough to read but superb insights – not found in any other book.

    :

Excellent book that educates in CRYSTAL CLEAR manner, how the British Colonialists and Christian missionaries filled with malice and superiority complex FORCED, arm-twisted the vulnerable Hindus suffering colonial rule to accept an alien caste system concept that existed in Europe over the actual vaidika-tantrika, varna-kula and kularchara system. The evil westerners ruling India during British Raj misheviously and devious manner to protect their colonial power over India and spread the Christian gospel by hook or crook did many shady practices. They interfered in the spiritual practices of India and destroyed it purely to satisfy their selfishness without any higher purpose or genuine upliftment of residents of India.

PEACE! Yes, the peace of being proven right. That’s the feeling after reading this book. Read it if you feel agitated by reformers, westerners and anti-Hindu forces criticism of Hindu dharma and society.
