Sri Guru Grantha Sahibji is the 11th Guru of Sikhs, as before passing away Guru Gobind Singh Ji decreed that the Sikhs were to regard Sri Guru Grantha Sahibji as their next and everlasting Guru. This work aims to explain philosophy in the Sri Guru Grantha Sahibji and its commonality with our ancient
philosophical traditions. The scope of the present is a systematic account of Gurus’ Gurbani, teachings & philosophy.

The Sikh philosophy is essentially drawn from our hoary tradition.  The Gurus, humility personified, never laid claim as progenitors  of a different school of philosophy. There is not a single line in the entire corpus of Sikh philosophy which is discordant with  Hindu spirituality. To say otherwise is a great disservice to the  great Sikh Gurus and indeed a grave distortion of their message.
