During the course of research for the movie, the authors of the book, The Untold Kerala Story, Sudipto Sen and Ambika JK, came across several startling cases of human tragedy which were overlooked due to political correctness. The book seeks to provide context and evidence to support the claims, aiming to bring greater awareness to the critical issues raised in the movie.
