Description
About the book :
Srimad Bhagawata is a unique Purana. Its numerous stories and narrations have clear streaks of spiritual messages couched in them. In this book, an attempt has been made to skim over Bhagwata and pause now and then to wonder at its beauty and depth. Originally written by Krishna Dwaipayana Vyaasa known as Veda Vyaasa, this English version is retold by Swami Chinmayananda.
On Sri Krishna : “The supreme essence born as a mass of beauty, music and joy, dazzling in wisdom, noisy with laughter, ever a master of circumstances, a king of events, frisking about in life’s melancholy contentions, meeting challenges with daring and confidence, at once a hero and a child all rolled in one – this is the perfect God-man, the eternal child of Vrindavan”.– Swami Chinmayananda.
